Buff guys!
There's a really buff guy at a gym where I work out, he looks scary. I can't imagine it's a turn-on for girls or anyone either. Why do they go to such an extent to become so buff? Wouldn't you guys rather be fit, say like a male model, than really buff like a pro body builder? What are your feelings towards really buff guys? I think they're scary, wacky and even unlikeable.
Which body would you rather have?

Kumainu, are you just looking for an excuse to post pix of men in underwear?

No, seriously, everytime I see him at the gym, I don't like him because he's too buff.
Just wanted to know others' feelings on this. It's nothing more than a fun subject.
First of all, the average guy will choose the first pic. because it means lots of sex
secondly, the body builder does not look like that all year round. That same person will look much more normal off season. when he puts a little more fat, and regains the water he's lost in his skin during show season.
I would choose to be in between those two pics. definitely closer in size to the first. Every man/woman has a different idea of masculinity. I used to know a lot of big guys at the gym when I had the time and was dedicated like them. They do it for themselves and don't care about the average persons opinion. I'm only 5'6" and looks too built for my stature at the time. I have a pic somewhere if I can find it.
oh and yes, I too find it rather coincidental that you have posted a pic of a gay man in underwear.

Most people can't look like #2 if they dedicated their entire lives to it. That's a serious accomplishment and you have to respect that. Not only that, but that guy can push a lot of weight and probably lift your tercel a foot off the ground.
As barbaric as this may sound, knowing that I can physcially beat the $hit out of guy #1 and would probably run away from guy #2 means something instinctively. I am 175lbs and will be in the "315" club within the next month or so without an injury (we call the 225 club those that can do 225lbs bench/squat/dead lift and the 315 club works the same way).

Dude, I just did random searches for "calvin klein model ads" and "bodybuilding". Sue me!
Oh yeah, post pic of your buffness.
I'm talking about scary buff, not your wimpy buff.

I was never scary buff. you couldn't compare me to pic #2 in a million years, and I doubt anyone else on this forum either. Like I said a lot is involved in looking that way. People just thought that I was too big my my stature thats all.
