The time has come for me to start designing my dream house.
Hopefully getting things moving by spring time. I was wondering if anybody out there knows of some good house design software. I'm good in Autocad, but it's not cutting it for me. All I really want is something I can give the Architects to go by ( and save thousands in the process ) by doing most of the work myself. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Mike

I know a guy who's been designing plans for over twenty-five years. I'm sure he's got an impressive inventory of existing plans or he could do you a new design. You can contact him at rgrape@flash.net. His name is Rick Grape.

I used a software package called Real Architect. It is run in conjunction with Autocad LT and provides a number of useful architectural design and drafting tools as well as an inventory of insertable hardware, plumbing, windows, etc. etc.
