i think anyone who thinks sombody is a dumbass for doing something they like is pathetic. Thats like you waiting at the dealer for a s2k special model so you can have the first batch...no difference, two peoples likes.

Kmart is the crappiest store on the planet. It makes Walmart look classy. I went in to Kmart looking for a gift I couldn't find anywhere, and I tried everywhere, and I felt like I had entered a third world country. I kept expecting to see chickens running loose in the aisles. What a shithole.

I dont think it is any dumber than waiting in any line for anything.
Ever get to a general admission concert early to get closer to the stage?
Ever wait in line for any ticket to any event?
It has been reported that people, on average, spend 5 years of their life waiting in line for something so, what,...is everybody dumb??
People will actively seek out those things that are appealing to them. They will do what it takes to achieve that goal, why are they dumb for trying to achieve their objective??

Ugh... i wouldnt mind having one atm but to hell if im waiting in line or paying a scalper - my main objection to the systems right now is that they are the initial release systems. Flaws are always abundant in the first generation consoles so its like paying for a 911 and getting a Mustang IMO - i know no relevance but just an opinion. Also i heard some stories how some people went into some nice debt to hog 10,15, or more PS3s and now cant sell them, or sell at barely retail on ebay, has anyone checked Ebay yet for these? I was actually so disgusted with the voilence and desparation in the news with PS3 campers i took the $850 i had set aside for one and donated to a 3rd world hunger relief charity.

Very well said. Different strokes for different folks. And doesn't just have to be for video games...the same can be said for tickets or even a supermarket...hell it aint no different than paying over msrp for a new car. Some folks out there think its pretty stupid for us to be paying $25-$32K for a car that can only hold 2 people. What a waste of space!!
