I ordered some parts on monday night, and already had set up an appointment for the following monday......... the business indicated it should not be a problem to get them there with plenty of time.

After several emails (starting with 1 thursday, 2-3 friday and a phone call, then emails saturday)... i finally got a reply on monday Morning....which means I had to cancel my appointment (which never seems to sit well with the mechanic).

Here is the reply...... I have since replied stating that NO, they did not show up..... No apoligy, no nothing.???? I personally would feel like I let someone down and want to make up for it in some small way.?

I am a little pissed about the entire thing...the pads did eventually show up, but I am now waiting until this saturday to get them put on....

Am I expecting too much when someone doesn't do what they say, or should I just expect that no one will ever do what they say.?

Scot (i actually did ask for the tracking #'s, but still have not gotten any replies about that)

The pads were shipped out on Tuesday morning directly from Porterfield in California. As for a tracking number, I do not have that at the moment but can obtain that if they get lost. I indicated to expidite this order with shipping arrangements, and I'm HOPING that they sent it UPS 3 day select as I stated on the order, but that doesnt' look like it happened since you still don't have the pads.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Not really an ethical issue, more one of customer service level. Unfortunately this is more the rule than exception.

Ya, I couldn't come up with the right "subject" so i slapped in "ethics".

I thought a follow up email would have at least been nice... like "sorry, next time we'll make sure we get it right"

Guess I will try somewhere else next time though.
