The Florida cars were Rothstein's. Damn ponzi scammer. I know someone going to try to get the SV and other exotics. Problem with these auctions is that the bids often end up at or close to retail on the more desirable vehicles.
Seems like the auction might yield some good deals though for someone looking to purchase.

Yeah, I'd like to see what the cars sold for.
You have to:
1. Send in a 100% refundable pre determined deposit in order to bid
2. Sign up to bid
3. At certain auctions be present to bid.
I sent in 5000 dollars to be eligible to bid on 2 cars. I thought I could maybe grab something on the cheap.
There is an unannounced reserve price on the cars. There is no easy way to find out this reserve.
I won neither car because the bids went to private retail prices.
An example of one of the cars that sold was a red 2005 murcielago roadster. It sold for 175000 dollars. It was on Lambo Houston's sale's floor for 1 year. Lambo Houston sold it for 175000, so essentially they lost money on the car.
The most desirable cars sold at retail prices. Some of the less desirable cars sold for less than retail, but few ridiculous deals were found.

These auctions usually aren't worth messing with in general in a down market. It's so tough to resell them for a decent price these days you end up catching a falling knife.
cars are in a perpetual state of "down market".

For car dealers they can be investments. There are a lot of people who bring in a ton of money buying cars low and selling high.
