Thumbs up Buying term papers?

Just curious (seriously ) but has anyone ever used one of those services that will write your college papers? Honestly I probably would use one if I was 100000% sure I wouldn't get caught, but the risk is way too large. Getting kicked out of school FTL! But does anyone know anyone who has taken the chance?

Ive never paid for one but I used some of the free ones back when I was in HS. I'd usually just take parts of them and incorporate it into whatever I had already written. Although this was back when 28.8kbps modems were the hot item, so it was much harder to get caught. I dont know that I would suggest it now that we're in 2009.

Never tried it, but someone set up a website at my school and students from past years would scan their homework assignments and papers and post them on the site. the math problems were a big help but i never used it for the papers. i wouldn't want to risk it either.

haha I bought them, the problem was they were never really exacttly the topic that I was asked to write about, so I always had to modify them a little. Its worth it to get some ideas from and use the layout etc........but not really worth it to just buy and print it out and hand it in

LOL

you will get caught. Most big schools use this service where all they do is type in a sentence or a sequence of words word for word and push a button. Every match their system finds (and it searches things you wouldn't even expect) compiles a list and your busted.

I woulnd' do it, but not a bad idea to get idea's from maybe.

You can probably get ideas from papers online... but write your own. I wouldn't do it as it would be very risky. All you would have to do is put a paragraph quoted in google and I'm sure "your" paper would pop up online.

I did have a coworker pay his friend money to take a summer class for him for college. the friend just showed up, said he was my coworker... apparently it worked. my coworker even offered him a bonus if he got an A in the course.

I used one in a joke of a night school course back in high school. I wouldn't do it again, but I did get a 75% on it or something. It was slightly less than I would've gotten if I did it myself but I had to do no work on it. I just forgot about the assignment but had read the book so on the due date I downloaded one and was prepared to talk about everything.

So many responses saying that you shouldn't do it because it's risky.

Here's a novel thought: don't do it because it's wrong.
