You wouldn't be restricted as far as residency is concerned, the Caribbean med. schools simply make it more difficult to specialize in things like dermatology, specialty surgery (ie; cardio-thorasic etc.) Most graduates come out of the program and enter internal medicine or family practice.

. I know a lot about Carribesn med schools. Good luck OP. Its a long hard road, but the payoff is nice.
