so i downloaded the new getaway in stockholm. i've never seen any of them before...watched number 8 and wasn't too impressed. there were only like 2 or 3 police cars. that audi wasn't that particularly exciting, either. are the other ones better?

anyway, so after a little web searching, i came across this old short film from 1976 called c'

I think I heard something about this, likely as a result of another posting on here.

Ah the guy who tried to drive the M5 across the country at some ridiculous pace was inspired by it to try the same thing in NY? He did a few practice runs but never actually did it for his big performance...so they say.

Nissan did a version of this for the 2004 intro of the 350Z too.

you're right...i searched under the title which is why nothing came up. searched again for the director's name and a few threads popped up. anyway, still a good viewing for anyone that hasn't seen it before.

Nobody has probably mentioned it due to the fact that it is so well-known.

After perhaps Bullitt, Ronin, and LeMans, this is widely known as one of the best car movies ever (even if it is a short).
haha well apparently i'm a little late to the game! oh well.
