No VTEC, but they seem to have variable everything else in that engine. I'd worry about that 36,000 mile oil change interval though.

I do not understand GM.. it is like they have no clue. The Cadillac division throws money at ventures trying to save itself instead of concentrating on the obvious. If you want to compete with BMW and Mercedes then you need to start by building a better BMW or Mercedes.. not by rolling out new edge styling or another engine.

When they turn out comfortable, reliable, attractive luxury cars with outstanding handling and performance, sales will improve. IMO you first emulate the leaders and then differentiate yourself in the market place.

Maybe after the Evoq comes out they'll start working on some performance sedans to compete with the M5 and E55.

You have to walk before you run. How about a Catera as good as a 330, or a Sedan as good as a 740?

Yea, and I guess they need to get the rear-wheel drive thing down again. They've been making FWD land yachts for way too long.
