Cool

FTW!!!!!!!!

Take T-Rex, take out the enclosure and put a snowmobile motor in it and you now have a Spyder

fun looking though for that wind in hair effect

Basically it is the lovechild of a t-rex and a polaris snowmobile

variant from a bike? it's nothing like a bike... bikes lean into corners. If you want to compare it to something, I'd say a kit car (lotus, caterham etc) or an Ariel Atom...

I'm guessing the demographic for those will be the yuppie crowd who has had a recent model "super scooter" but isn't quite ready for a goldwing. I can see how it would be a fun toy to take along with your motorhome as you traveled cross country... but a canyon carver, it surely is not.

I've been curious about the demographic. It doesn't lean like a bike. The stability control system is very intrusive but necessary (short review in recent MCN magazine). Too wide to split lanes in CA. Bike for the disabled?

The price on something like a T-Rex is right up there with a base Atom. I'll take either two or four wheels please...

the way i see it, the demographic is probably for people who 1) want to look "cool" or just want attention from others in general, 2) doesn't really know how to ride a motorcycle or think motorcycles are "unsafe" but want the "motorcycle-esque" experience, and/or 3) is fuel economy conscious and wants something really small that can be parked vitually anywhere. you'll probably find more people over 40 buying and riding those things than people under 40. the way i see it, they're probably better off making street versions of ATVs than that thing. in fact, i'm kinda surprised that it has not already happened. steet versions of ATVs seems like good city commuter-moblies.

I can see a lot of squids wanting one to burn out and drift. I don't doubt the fun factor of that, but if it doesn't lean to the ground, it aint my kinda bike.

you gotta keep in mind that most people who buy and ride motorcycles are not into leaning their bikes and carving cannons, so the fact that this thing doesn't lean really isn't a big deal to most.
yeah, like I said...."Squids". No offense though, to each it's own. have fun doing what you will, but you still shall be classified.
