Well Here is a similar incident, Two guys wearing their seatbelt and survive, but the girls get thrown from the car because they were not wearing their seatbelt, well the families won a lawsuit against ford, saying that it's ford's fault. The driver was drunk as stated in the article.

If this is true this is one of the worst rulings I have seen, yes lets award money to these people cause it's ford's fault that we were speeding, not wearing seatbelts, and being drunk. Ok that's three things they could have done much more responsibly.

Ok now throw the kid in jail for drinking and driving, they should be suing the kid who was drinking not Ford.

But I do find that it's weird that I found 2 stories with different info, (meaning different money figures) and also this story sounds all to familiar to this one...

Quoting from the one above....
"It was a double date like countless others: Two teenage girls and their teenage boyfriends, with plans to see a movie on a summer night."

First of all this article has the date of March 1 of i'm guessing 2005, It's march, it's not summer. They have different names then the other stories, I smell something fihsy.

So in conclusion, to everyone out there that does the things this kids did, Wear Your seatbelts (if you don't you will most likely die), don't speed unsensibly (you will most likely die), and don't drink and drive (you will kill others or your self). Take responsibilty for your actions.

I hate the whole 'it's not my fault" and "everyone is a victim" mentallity. Makes me sick.

Next we will hear things like like "oh I ran a stop sign and killed a family of four, but It's (insert car company's name here) fault because the car didn't apply the brakes for me, so lets sue the company I did nothing wrong, oh by the way I had a blood alcohol rating of 9.99999999999999999999."

To put it simply, there was blood in my alcohol stream.
