.....ok so the big deal for is that the car was in an accident on 8/01/2002, enough that it was reported to the ins company....then the weird thing happens on 5/24/04...the title is renewed in orlando FL, but it says NY too....whats this mean??

i've heard of states replacing titles if the car can show that enough repair was done to it to correct it...specifically TX or FL....so basically i'm wondering if the car was in an accident, had a salvage title, then fixed enough to remove the salvage title...the rest of the car fax comes up clean other than the fact that is was also registered as a corporate lease vehicle...it's selling at an audi dealership near me and they said it will come out as a certified vehicle....so should i be worried??

can anyone if fl verify state law for me down there???i have the rest of the carfax if you guys need more info...thanks

I wouldn't bother getting it. If the price is too low, then you know that it's too good to be true.

let see... the car was repo'd, suspension was worked on , price is low, and it was driven in MA, involved in a car accident.

i would stay far away.

yeah but my question is this...the price is $23.9K.....and the audi dealership is going to certify it, meaning an extra 2 years 100K mile warrenty and it is bumper to bumper

even with the certified, you may still have problems. Not worth it.

to me it sounds like you are a bit uncomfortable with the carfax report otherwise you would not have asked the question. trust your instincts.

well, if you said the audi dealership is going to cover it, especially bumper to bumper, i don't see why not? i mean that basically covers everything except normal wear and tear. so if the suspension breaks, you will get it fixed for free. the only thing is probably the hassle.

But what GoFaassttt said, if you have doubts, trust your instinct.

yeah it does bother me kind of, just not knowing the extent of damage....

if i can find that out i'll decide then....

the carfax says that it is reported if the damage exceeds $1000....which is not alot for an audi....i just want to see how much it reallly was...if it was like $10K then we have a problem..

there are other audi's that i'm looking at, but i like the color...oh well....

keep the advice coming though
