Default Can a tint shop tint plastic?

I have a platic (I think it's polycarb) that I asked my local shop to tint and they said they can't on plastic - it needs to be glass....

Can anyone confirm otherwise?

Thanks

Why does it matter. If they won't do it, what's the reason matter?

Heat guns do have that effect on plastic.

You mean for example our rear convertible window? No. At least that's what my tint shop said.

2 options, 1:static cling tint very common. 2: spray on tint not as popular.

NOOO

My buddy nabil (s2kako) tried to tint his plastic rear window on his hardtop and it worked for about a week, then it bubbled up. Just buy tinted polycarbonate from a plastic shop and use your window as a template to cut out the new one, its what i did.
