Cap Cats (TM) Cap Leash
When you post up stuff on a public forum, you must be prepared to get all kinds of opinions and responses. If you want only positive responses, then you should have posted an addendum to your title:
"Don't post if you don't like this. I will get my panties in a knot."
ps. I have never lost a cap while driving in this car. I know enough to adjust the tightness so it won't come off. If I drive at speeds where there is a possibility of losing my cap, then I also risk getting a really big ticket. Losing my cap is the least of my worries.
pps. I don't have "prized" caps and if I did I wouldn't wear it in a situation where I might just lose it. No cap is that important to me.
ppps. If it's that important to you, then use this little gizmo. I'm sure your mother would approve.
pppps. Not sure how getting a ticket for your radar detector has anything to do with Emil's response.
I think you've read FAR, FAR too much into his
I'm sure he just doesn't like the idea. He didn't say he doesn't like you nor did he say he doesn't like your mother nor did he imply anything about your character. Lighten up!
ppppps. Additionally, my first reply had absolutely NOTHING that referred to YOU. It was based on MY feelings about what I experienced in MY childhood.
pppppps. In fact, if it were ME (not you), having something like that on my cap would make ME (not you) feel a bit like a pansy. Again, this is NOT implying that you would look like a pansy if you wore one, just ME. So to make it perfectly clear, there is no personal attack here (just in case you thought there might be). This is about ME and how I view using one of these things.
(For the love of GOD, do we really need to get into these "disclaimers" everytime we post something for fear someone will be offended?)
