Default Car was legally stolen...

So basically, Florida has this thing where if there are two people on a title seperated by the word "or" either one can do as they please without the other's consent. So my car was signed over a week after it was paid off...

I haven't been on this board in forever because I've been dealing with family issues and now that I'm officially screwed out of all the money that I put into my car (not to mention that I love the car itself) I've finally just given up.

All contracts "and" both have to consent, "or" just one. Sorry to hear about your loss.

Wow, that is ****ed. Karma is a bitch, I hope she burns in hell.

Maybe you can take some anger out on the car? Go blow it up or something...

I don't know if I missed a thread or not, but I'm assuming this was done by your wife/ex-wife? Sorry to hear that. It sucks but as someone else mentioned, karma will get the best of it. Hope to see you in another S in the future.

Yeah, the or is not just in Florida. It's anywhere. My wife and I got or's on our cars because otherwise you both have to be there to sell it or anything. It's a headache, but of course the flip side is what happened to you. Sorry to hear it.

Isn't it much simpler to have just your own name on the vehicle?

Post up on B20, B16...basically any lowlife Honda website where thieves lurk....post the address where the car is. It should illegally stripped, stolen in a matter of hours and her insurance will go up and she will deal with a big headache.
