You are clueless to think that what US did was justified. After the victory of US, many US soldiers in Japan raped Japanese civilians as well. Definitely not even close to what happened in Nanking, but raping innocent people are still the same thing regardless of the numbers. Japanese civilians were forbidden to spread the impact of atomic bomb and those who were caught spreading it would killed by "Death By Hanging."

To be truthfully speaking, at the time of WWII, Japanese Emperor controlled everything, and those civilians who went against the war were brainwashed, many times by means of torturing. Basically two atomic bombs didn't kill those cruel soldiers but a lot of innocent Civilians who caused no harm. Even after decades, there were still many people who were infected by atomic bomb.

You're absolutely right, that those Japanese soldiers at Nanking Massacre should've been executed painfully, but don't even think for a second that the atomic bomb is justified.
