In this situation, I'd go file a police report. Then take this report to your insurance. Statefarm is pretty good at replacing lost/damage items if you can prove was not your fault. Statefarm will not increase your insurance.

I say press charges and get yourself a nice hard top. If he were to press charges for assault and you did go to court im pretty sure it would be thrown out of court because you caught him in the act of vanadlism and he became "very aggressive" when you went to confronted him.

like everyone said you should of just called the cops. since u beat him up already i would just put that black mask on and kick his ass again or do it til you feel better without killing him or making him a retard and just pay for your top yourself.
