Default Cell Phone Calling Plans

What are some of the best cell phone calling plans available now?? I pay way too much money on my damned cell phone and I am canceling my service..

I need at least 500 minutes "any time", preferably at < $50 ..

Thanks

Chris

Im with AT&T.

I would talk to people located in your area, as carriers change vastly from market to market. Some areas have poor RF engineering, some are oversold, etc. This goes for all carriers in general.

Sprint, 500 anytime, 4000 evening & weekend $50. Decent nationwide network, although I have drifted off their network several times while traveling.

I have cingular's $35/month plan - 350 minutes daytime (maybe not enough for you) and free weeknights, free weekends (9pm-6am), and free long distance. I go out at night most of the time so the free weekends really helps out a lot.

Check out Verizon Wireless' new America's Choice plan. www.verizonwireless.com

for $75 you get 900 peak, 3000 night and weekend, 250 mobile to mobile and as long as you are in Verizon Wireless' network, you can go anywhere and call anywhere.

To get a better understanding of their map, check out the website.

I have AT&T. They have the best coverage area for where I live. My phone still has signal strength while people on other plans don't. It really depends on which carrier has the best coverage in your area. Most of the plans are the same.
