anyone know where i can get a subsidy unlock code for a motorola v400 cingular phone?

i found a service on ebay, but he wants you to send the whole phone to him, he unlocks it, then sends it back. i don't trust people, so that's out of the question.

you'd think it would be a simple google search away,,,,right?

 

you can sometimes call the provider and they will give you the unlock code. Is the phone you got for sure locked? I had checked my t637 (which came from Cingular) and it was unlocked already.

You can also try searching Yahoo or Google for places like THIS but it seems like you will need a cable to unlock it.
