Cell Phone Services
I used to have T mobile for 2 years and they are great.
however, now that i travel farther away from cities and highways.. i.e. in the woods training... i need something that can have signal.
For that reason i have Verizon and they are great but little more expensive then T.

I'm still with Sprint for past 4-5 years now, and just upgraded my phone. Not too bad with service plans and fees. Only reason for me to stay is the employee discount. Only phone in the house, very practical.
My ex- had the same Sprint, but went with AT&T, but pays a whopping $100/mo.
My current- is also with AT&T, but is on the cheaper plan, like ~$40/mo. Also, only phone in the house.
I may switch to Verizon or AT&T later or just increase my minutes on my plan.
If you are wanting better coverage/plans, many of our s2k members are phone service/sales people and they can hook you up with good deals/plans. That's what I'll do when I finally switch mine from Sprint to AT&T or Verizon.

work for US Cellular, have a phone through them free since I work there (at least I will be working here until Thursday the 15th) but I also have a Nextel phone. Kind of expensive, but very reliable, and a lot of people I know have it, so the direct connect is very handy.
I've had most of the carriers out there at one time or another.
There is no perfect carrier -- everyone has areas of great and areas of poor coverage; In my opinion you are best off asking folks in your local area who they are with and what their experience has been.

^ In addition to what Steve C mentioned. . . I've stuck with the same service for 3 years, but most recently converted my plan into a business account I get unlimited minutes with Sprint for $100 - not bad.

Some pretty cool features, too!!
