they showed that race in Japan and called it illegal. That's false information.

This is just another example of the liberal media trying to control our lives. You can't legislate behavior. Once THEY restrict this, then THEY're going to try enforcing the speed limits for God's sakes!!!! We know ALL those Canadians are all godless socialists, but it's gonna happen HERE NEXT!!!! NO RULES!!! NO LIMITS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Survival of the fittest, that's the American way!!!!

While I don't condone with street racing, that zero tolerance law is just wrong. There is no way you would get away with that here in the US. The aftermarket companies would be suing like crazy.

While I may not be into the street racing scene I do think some elements of it is well organized. These people are taking it to deserted streets and the only people that are getting hurt are themselves. Most do carry walkie-talkies (sp) that help somewhat.

It's the people who will race anywhere that are the real problems. I was coming home late one night when two street racers came blazing by...I mean it was loud. They had to be going 100+ with multiple cars on the road. Luckily I saw them from a distance...if I hadn't who knows what they would have done.

I may not agree with the zero tolerance law, but I do think it's a good way to discourage some people from modifying their cars. That law probably came about due to an uprising in street racing and street racing accidents.

Btw, that guy in the S2k in the video..he a member here?

That kid stuck me as a callous, egotistical, irresponsible, still-living-at-home child.

Police impounding people's cars for tinted windows, lowered suspension, and modified exhaust, that is outrageous!!! How do we stop this behavior? The only people benefiting are the tow companies and the police department. I have street raced for years and the laws have become ridiculous. In my town, they have passed an ordinance making it illegal to watch a street race. Who would have thought standing out in the street was illegal?

znatural1, I agree. that's stupid. it's like trying to stop porn by making it illegal to look at someone naked. so if some girl is streaking down the street and you look, a cop can ticket/arrest you. retarded. I don't see how it could hold up in court. doesn't make sense.

i don't see them baning cars with handicap stickers or plates, and we know how many accidents they cause. This is so tainted with racism. did you notice that everyone they pulled over was asian. I think they were trying to prove some point.

Japan has a high number of street races, and yet, this crap doesn't happen. man.. i am glad i live in RICHMOND, VA USA! not stinkn CANADA... boooo!!! boooo!!!...

just kidding to all your canadians..
