I saw that months ago when they first published it on the 20th anniversary. I don't like to think about it. Where I live, I can see the steam rising off of the cooling towers at 3 Mile Island.

A few years back there was a pictorial from a guy who rides his motorcycle out there. It was haunting.

His was more about the countryside rather than the people as this one is.

the thing to keep in mind is that Chernobyl was 20 yrs ago... and these are all kids-- some born a full decade AFTER the explosion-- severely afflicted by the radiation.
