Supposedly the person getting beat; was part of a group of 20 people to jump the one in the grey sweatshirt. Either way, violence is never the answer. So for that, this video saddens me, but I don't feel for the victim, if that's indeed the case.

On Friday night last week I was in Old City drinking with friends. Around 2:30 AM we were walking back down Chestnut when we saw a police car race up the road (one way) the wrong way. We saw paramedics working on someone on the ground, but we continued on our way.
Turns out some guy had been drinking with his girlfriend and some other girl, were trying to get a cab, but a cab blew by them and the dude yelled something out. Car behind the cab thought the guy was talking to them, and three dudes get out, chase the guy, beat him up, and left him. He was 23 and is dead.

Same thing happened at my school... Feud between two "gangs" (basically, idiot kids with idle hands) led to a few mobbings, mobbing back... It got pretty outta control at one point. The group I hung out with was really chill and we were cool with all the other guys. We used to hang out in the middle of this big courtyard halfway between where the other two "gangs" would hang out. We had good views of fights.

the world has always been like this.. it's just youtube and the internet community has grown. there's probably millions of beating up going on as of this moment around the world, but just not filmed.
