Hard to say in this day and age. We share the same style training... He has done a lot to promote martial arts. Maybe he will have more luck with this than his acting career

I really like watching martial arts, boxing, kickboxing. I would think this could be good because of the fast pace intended in two rounds per fighter.

I have not heard of it till I saw your link reference.

I wonder what others martial artists think?

No clincing, holding, sweeping, grappling, throwing of any kind. Also no stalling. Just kicks and punches. Looks like kickboxers would like this a lot.

i think there should be a sport called "headbutt fighting", and the only move you're allowed to use is headbutts. hands are tied behind your back, and the first guy to drop and not get up in a 10-count loses

to keep it interesting, the only other move allowed is kicking the other dude in the nuts

this could be an interesting concept.
