Default Cicadas!

We have been expecting the cicadas for the past few days here in cincinnati, but they havent showed up yet. Is anyone else expecting a ton of them? Have they popped out yet? We are supposed to have somewhere in the neighborhood of 5 billion in cincinnati. As soon as they show up, I'm gonna take a day off and go to the zoo and just watch the monkeys go nuts.

I really hope they don't come out en masse around Atlanta. I dont want to spend all summer cleaning off (more than usual) bug juice from my front bumper constantly.

Bugs seem to be on the rise in general. Everywhere. I can't travel 20 miles without having to wash the windshield just to see again.

We in the South East are in for it. At least the birds and racoons will be well fed.
