I saw Dralion a while back when they played in Santa Monica. It was a great show.

I've seen the two in Vegas and also the one at Walt Disney World. Out of the two in Vegas, I like Mystere better. Just love the taiko drums.

Anyone seen La Nouba in Orlando? I've only seen it 5 times already. Simply amazing!

O is probably my fav, but second only to Quidam. John Gilky "ring master" of Quidam is genius. The ballet in silk in Quidam blew me away as well.
Ive seen the Orlando La Nueba a couple times and it is pretty awesome too. The trampoline act on that show was incredible.

DOnt pass up the chance to see one of these shows. They are amazing and well worth the price.

Hmmm, I'll not comment on the value of mushrooms, or anything else for that matter, during a Cirque du Soliel show. That being said, Draillon (in Chicago, traveling) was pretty damn good. I've seen so far... Allegria (traveling Chicago), Quidam (travellin Chicago), and Mystere (non-travelling Vegas), and Saltimbaco (video, PBS).

So far my favorite was the Allegria show, though I admit it was my first, and by the performer's reaction it seemed to be a particularly good show (you know when you can just tell they have outdone themselves). Second was Mystere in Vegas, they can do an awful lot more with a permenant auditorium vs. an inflatable tent (plus they had the Kodo drummers there, who are awesome).

I saw the traveling Draillon showl, and it was damn good. Don't miss it.

Saw Allegria in Hong Kong a few years back and we have Saltimbanco coing to Tokyo next month I think.

Awesome shows...... and ...... mushrooms are legal in Japan, so I might think about giving them a go!!!!!

ahhh...the advantage of being an old fart....i saw "nouvelle experience" in '89 or '90 and have made a point to see every tent or travelling show in california since at least twice...in the good old days before dragone sold out to vegas the tent shows defied comparison....there was a definite change when the original creative talent left... i have not seen any of the "permanent" shows on purpose...they seemed to lack the "magic" if you will, of the old road performances..perhaps i'll give vegas a try and round out my "experience"....BTW...the best blend of dance, music circus, and pure theater to be found anywhere...go.go alone,go with your wife,go with your girlfriend,go with a lesbian ceramic artist[i did] ...even when seen in a relatively unaltered state you will never be quite the same again

well we saw the show.......

As most here have said the show was fantastic but did lack the over all enormity of the fixed shows in Vegas and Disney.

No mushrooms were consumed but Zippy and myself polished off a few bottles of red wine with dinner afterwards....

Perhaps Zippy remembers the name of the wine cuz I sure as hell forgot

If you get a chance make sure not to miss the show if it comes to your town.
