I've browsed the existing Cirque du Soleil threads in the S2Ki archives, but would like additional specific information, so please entertain another thread on them...

I will be going to Las Vegas and want to see either Mystere or O. I saw Quidam a number of years ago and enjoyed it a lot. My questions are as follows:

#1.
Which of these two shows do you recommend? Which has more action and more stunts? I'm honestly not very into artsy stuff and would prefer to see stunts and spectacles, like "wow how'd they do that" type of acts.

#2.
Tickets for O run $150 for ORC100 (lower orchestra), $125 for ORC (upper orchestra), and $99 for Balcony. I'm rather poor and this is pretty costly, not to mention considerably more expensive than Mystere tickets. What seats do you recommend for a guy on a budget? I'm currently thinking about getting ORC seats for $125. Will I be able to see clearly from there? Or should I go for ORC100? Getting the desired tickets shouldn't be a problem, as I am not going for a few months, and tickets have not gone on sale yet.

Thanks a lot for reading all this and for any feedback.

Btw, have any of you seen Zumanity? Is it good, and how different is it from the other shows? I'm interested in seeing that as well, but since this will be my girlfriend's first Cirque du Soleil show, I'd like her to see the more conventional ones first.

Without a doubt, you must see "O". It is fabulous. And worth the bucks.
I heard that Zumanity is good, but is "R" rated, if that bothers anybody. O is a show that they can't take on the road so LV is the only place you can see it, currently.

Personally, I think Mystere offers a better bang for the buck... The prices you pay for 'O' are also indicative of the location (belagio vs treasure island). Both shows are good though, but if on a budget, I'd see Mystere first. At least that's my 2 cents (since I think I lost the rest of my money gambling )

I've watched both shows and I enjoyed O better. The only thing with O is since it is a water show, you need to be towards the front.

I've never seen O, but I had second row, dead center seats for Mystere and I fell asleep. Was just too slow moving...especially the two guys doing the show of strength thing.
