Wassup Everyone!!! Everytime I park one of my cars from driving there is a "normal" clicking noise from under the car. I know this is normal because this happens to ever car I've been in, but what the hell is it??? Thanks! Latez!

I've always assumed it was the engine starting to cool. Various components are made of different materials that expand and shrink at different rates as they cool, so pieces slip slightly along gasketed surfaces. I'd guess most of the noise occurs at the junction of the exhaust manifold and the head.

What's up with the "Frisco, CA" location?

No one from "The City" ever calls it Frisco. My sister, who's lived there for at least 25 years, says that locals consider Frisco to be an insulting name for their city.

What's up with Frisco is that I am a local who is born and raised here. That is what's up . Many people I know of (old and young) call this city, Frisco. Maybe it is because I am more young, hip, and in the "scene" than others who wouldn't call this city Frisco . Either way, it's Frisco till the day I die. Latez, from Frisco!

Valve Clearance issue? My Lude made a clicking noise when it had that problem.

Luder94, this is after car shutoff, not while running. I would assume, as Tox did, that it is mostly the exhaust components cooling.

Mostly the cat and heat shield cooling. Older cars didn't do it because they didn't have any components that got that hot.
