I think cloning if done right is a good thing. Replacement organs and tissues would be a great thing. Transplanting cloned organs would revolutionize medicine. True it would create problems of it's own ethically and otherwise, but I feel it's a step in the right direction.

The thing is that people paint a dastardly picture in works of fiction. If you could be saved by this technology I think you might feel differently.

I'm all for cloning. I don't see it as inherently good or evil, wrong or right...it just is. Some will use it for "wrong" reasons and some will use it for "good". Hopefully more for "good". Either way its here to stay. Drugs are illegal and they are everywhere.

In the manner that tenblade describes it I personally don't see any morale issue. Deep down tranplant surgery is just high tech cannibalizm, but it is good stuff.
