That one got me too

At least you know he's aware of the humor in being a bit of a poseur I grew up in a pretty yuppie area so gap, old navy, lots of golf shirts and khaki shorts when I have to look semi decent. Generally the rest of the time it's no-name t-shirts. Couple pairs of American Eagle jeans and a few golf shirts from there.

With the exception of a couple the suits and ties are pretty much all Italian, but I haven't got a clue what brand they are.

I'm going to start looking in to buying generic items like boxers socks and crap online now.

Territory Ahead, not because of the name, but I like a lot of their shirt styles.

When I need new clothes, I inform my wife of the situation and she comes home with stuff.

I just went to a steve and barry's for the first time. I spent 60 bucks for 4 t-shirts, cargo shorts, and two pairs of jeans. nothing super fancy, just everyday clothes. they have a lot of funny shirts. American Eagle shirts are nice, Gap for polo's and jeans.

some brands I like: enyce, LRG, element, puma... that might be mainstream depending on where you live.
