What do you expect, he never made much of a gain on overthrowing GI Joe, after awhile you just gotta find other ways to occupy the time.

Well, there is the slight problem that Cobra Commander was turned into a half-human, half-snake in GI Joe the Movie (sadly, or not so sadly, I own the movie on DVD). So I liked my 80's shows!! Saber Rider, Denver the last dinosaur, Fraggle Rock, Robotech (although Macross is MUCH better), and of course, the holy grail, the god of all gods, the ONE show that hooked me on Japanese cartoons forever...

The Transformers!

i loves me some transformers in the 80's, i loves the voltron even more but if i go back and watch them now... they're REALLY boring...

Bumblebee kicked SO much ass though.

Am I missing something here? Is there some history I need to know to appreciate this thread?

ROFL, I too was raised on GI Joe and Transformers. Always loved the Transformers more though. I happened to see the movie on DVD a year ago or so, and just HAD to buy it immediately .

GI Joe always kinda bugged me though...I've never seen such poor shooting! Kill them mutha-ers already!
