Default Comcast Internet

I think my comcast cable modem is very good, except ive been having trouble with the homa page and how it loads. it might be because of my firewall, but comcast is unable to help me. when i log in and click enter, it forwards me to a blank page. i have to backspace to get to my succesfull log in page. has this happened to anyone else? anyone know how to fix this?...thanks...Frank

can you access other pages OK??? is it just a problem with just their homepage??

- you might want to try clearing the cache, tools-->internet options---> and click on delete files.
- you can also try another browser like netscape to see if its an actual problem with their homepage or your Internet explorer browser
--Another thing, the microsoft internet security patch has screwed up some people's browsers---you could try uninstalling that.

I have it and I hate it. It's expensive and sometimes keeps getting offline. It could be the stupid cable modem though.

Have not had any problems with Comcast or Explorer as my browser. I had a problem with my cable modem and it was due to the surge suppressor failing. Put in a new suppresser and it works just fine.

Comcasts home page is a Flash infested, buggy pile of crap. I used it for 8 minutes & then switched my home page to Yahoo.

The cable modem service has been OK though.

I have the service, but only go to their homepage when I get some junk email that won't download to Outlook Express, and I have to delete it.

I've had it since 1999, back when it was the @home network, and I like it.

for the past couple week i have been having the same problems with my comcast internet service.
i would be online, then all of a sudden i would lose my connection. on my modem all the lights except the power light would go out, then come back on. i am still trying to get them to come out and check my connection. it is really annoying esp when i am in the middle of a game and lose network connection.

The service is good for us. Never used the home page though. Their customer service is a little though. When I cancelled our service when I was moving, they said I owed them two modems. The modems were actually ones that we bought, and they never updated their system. And it was a pain to get them to finally take it off...
