some power supplies have a switch on the back(near the power supply fan), make sure you didn't accidentally turn the switch off during the installation.

Also, when you installed the new card, you may have pushed down on the board and created a short somewhere...Or the card could be the cause. I would try removing the new card and see if the computer powers on. If it does, then you could have a bad card...

EvoVII, did any of our suggestions help? Did you get your computer up-and-running again? Please come back and tell us what the status is.

Sorry, couldn't get to a computer .. I am taking it to a tech guy I know tomorrow, and he also basically said the same thing that you guys are saying, and said it should be no problem to fix once he takes a look at it.. Weird thing that happened today though.. I opened it to take the network card out (just incase) and it all of a sudden just turned on.. But the power button didn't turn on, it just started up right when I opened it (or very shortly afterwards)... So I thought that was weird.. I shut down and tried it again, but no luck

Is your computer fixed? So what was the problem?

yea it's fixed.. Im not sure what the exact problem was.. my mom dropped it off cuz I was at school at the time.. But she told me that they said that I probably triggered something loose when installing the card.. Also, when testing things out, they noticed that I had a lot of memory errors on the comp (which I do).. They asked if I wanted to do a "service" on the comp, but I obliged to just take it back as is.. I usually just buy a comp every 4-5 years and then buy a new one.. This is still year 3, so should still give me plenty of life before all hell breaks loose.
