Hey everyone,

We should all congratulate greg stevens for leading the ESPN game to win an S2000.

http://games.espn.go.com/cgi/cart/Request....dll?LEADERBOARD

According to the rules, both of us have an equal shot at the S2K (they just pick a winner from everyone that enters). However, Greg is in the lead for the First prize, which is given to the winner of the game. The First Prize is a trip for 2 to Las Vegas to attend a CART 101 class. You get driving instructions and a chance to drive in a CART car.

I can just see Greg now, taking a picture of his CART car right next to a lovely garbage bin.

Hmmmm....

I must be playing in my sleep, because I don't remember! I registered, but I haven't had the time to actually PLAY the game...it would be cool if I won though!

And it scares me to know there are other Greg Stevens out there...!

But thanks for the kudos, I'll take credit whenever I can!

Greg,

I was actually wondering if that was you, after I posted. But I thought to myself, how many Greg Stevens are there!!!!

Actually, if you just picked your drivers, you're already playing. You don't have to go pick new drivers every week.

Can someone explain how you score points in the contest. . . I read the rules (and currently have 37 points), but for the life of me, I'm still not sure exactly how to "win". . .

My understanding of the rules: Pick the drivers that will have the greatest point differential from race to race (i.e., drivers with most potential). . . Is that accurate? Or, should I be picking drivers that have the best chance of winning?

Any insights would be appreciated. . .

Too bad the winner of the s2k is drawn randomly from the pool of entrants. I think the winner of the contest should walk away with the s2k.

Believe me, Greg, of all the Greg Stevens's in the world, you are certainly unique!

Hey Iceman,

I think you pick the drivers that have the best chance of winning. However, if you pick the drivers that have the most potential and one of them wins, you get more points. Kind of like in horse racing. You win less money for the favorite, but a longshot makes you a lot more money.
