I'm curious to see what normal consumers think your everyday retailers make in terms of gross margins.
By retail I mean the places you see in the malls (like Macy's), Wal-Mart/K-Mart, Costco, Staples/Office Depot, etc.
Yes, I know every industry is different, but I was curious to see what a consumer *thinks* is acceptable margin.

You are asking two different questions here Mingster.....
First of all in the title you ask what people think that margin IS
Then at the end you say you want to know what people think is ACCEPTABLE....
I think you need to be clearer in what you are asking if you want meaningful results.....

just choose what you think retailers are making in terms of margins.
