Default Convertible top cover. How many use it?

How many of you actually use your top cover when your top is down? I think it's called a boot but not sure. It seems to be a hassle to put on and take off. I don't bother snapping the middle snaps. I just snap it onto the inside of the doors. I do think it's a good protection for the top but putting it on and taking it off on short rides is a pain. Feedback or suggestions?

Yeah, I dunno. I like the way it looks with the boot on, but like you, I agree it's a pain in the neck to take it off to put the top up. Especially now when it's nice during the day, but chilly at night. Thank god I have a garage and a beater car.

I used my first one twice and after the recall I never took the replacement out of the plastic. I stuffed it on a shelf in my garage and forgot about it.

I've used it several times. It seems to be easy enough to put on and take off.

I like to use mine but I had to practice taking it off to be able to get it down to a nice point. I get it off and stored in the trunk in about 1 minute or so. I think it enhances the total appearance of the car plus it keep gunk out of the gears as well.
