Hey, my little town made it all the way to off topic. I guess I'll have to think twice when answering a knock from now on.

 

lesson learned...dont answer the door with a gun unless you know the person knocking isn't a cop.

Just been too busy with other stuff IRL ya know, this was on the front page of yahoo and was screaming at me to read so couldnt resist.

Funny thing about this is if they ever do that shit to me, ill definitely get killed, and take out the whole gang of crooks in the process.

 

Thats why Indiana FTW. The first state to make it legal to shoot a police officer if he is in your home without cause. If cops were a little more scared of getting shot, maybe, just MAYBE, they wouldn't knock on the wrong door, and announce themselves.

 

Think again. Already happened. Guy was sleeping at home, and his 3 year old daughter sleeping in the next room. Cops knocked on his door at 3am unannounced, but the guy was tired and didnt hear the knocks. A few minutes later, his door gets kicked in. He runs to his daughters room, pointing a gun at the bedroom door. Cop bursts into the room, and catches one in the head. Guy had no clue they were cops. Other cops admitted they did not announce themselves. Guy got 40 years and convicted of killing a cop. Served 10, then the story was picked up and publicized to hell, and he was released. Lose lose for the civilian.
