No pictures from our reception. It was a dinner cruise out on the ocean. Half the women got seasick including the bride. We had a private dining room but the ship seated about 1800 for dinner. They sent her to the back of the boat because it was supposed to be calmer. She had to stumble past a dining room, in her wedding dress with seasickness bag in hand, past about 600 Japanese tourists giving her a standing ovation and saying "Congratulations" in Japanese. I walked along behind smiling and waving. I wish I had video. It would have been sweet.

Thanks for the good wishes.

It was a fantastic time. For me anyway, the bride also got motion sick on the zipline tour on Maui. 50 mph on a zipline is great fun.

For married guys, how long before I can phase out this ring? I don't like jewelry and it is like having an annoying weight on your hand. I would prefer just drawing a ring around my finger with a sharpie.

Looks like a great wedding. I wore my ring until it got hung on something and almost ripped my finger off. I think that took 13 years. The really bad thing is that I can't find it now.

Congats, what a beautiful place to get married!

I find that I can take breaks from the ring, but after a week I hear about it.

Besides, it's usefull for more than just a symbol of your endless devotion to each other.

1. More efficient than knuckles when knocking on a door.
2. Spinning it on your desk is a really great way to irritate the guy in the next cubicle.

That's my fav. I spin and then try to stop it with my fore-finger.

BTW to the OP, congrats.
