Sorry, a lot of times if we don't have service contracts on the laptops, we toss them and get a new one. That's one reason why laptops suck (main reason being lack of upgradability).

Check on Ebay. I've bought complete laptops with "issues" to use for parts. What model Toshiba do you have? I've got some Portege 7200 CTe stuff around.

Yeah....I've had to throw out some laptops because my users have broken the screens. Unless you can find a parts donor for cheap, I think you are out of luck.

Its a Toshiba 1115-s103 and it has a sharp lcd screen. Im not sure if there are any other lcds similar to that one that would fit that computer. So far i got a couple quotes rangingfrom $450 to $1054. I bought it brand new for $650, so im looking for a little better deal. thanks for all your help..

I've seen some Ebay screens from 'donor' laptops. Yeah I bought a s103 for $599 after rebates for my girlfriend for Xmas but returned it because it had a bad pixel. Went to upgrade to a 301 since they ran out of the s103s. But bought the VPR Matrix with the 15" widescreen. Looks like a Powerbook. Really nice laptop but of course it cost 2399 before rebates. But if you can't find a screen, you can always hook it up to a monitor. I know it sucks but at least youc an have a working laptop.
