what's the best way to search craistlist? isn't there a code that you type into google/yahoo like "search site:www.craigslist.com"? sorry i'm a newb to craigslist

u go to craigslist and there is a search on the *left hand side. if you are trying to buy something, click wanted/for sale, then search.

If it doesn't do it automatically, you want to select your general area first. Then you can use the search on your left hand side.

 

lol i figured that's how you used the search that is listed in the site

members on this forum quote some code they use in google to search s2ki's contents because our search doesn't always bring up what your looking for.

 

There are codes to search certain mp3 for downloading and stuff. For craigslist, I don't know.

its craigslist.org, i'm on there at work seems like all day looking for a beater car close by.

 

craigslist.com works too, brings you to the same place. If you want to do a Google search on a specific site, use something like this:

"leather couch" site:www.craigslist.com
