Default crappy 2 weeks. sorta comical.

so.. i feel like getting this out... not really a big deal, but whatever... its pretty comical if you aren't me.

last week my s2000 gets a little exhaust leak. lame, but its covered under warranty. i bring it to honda, they check it out and order the part. it takes 4 days to get in. on day two of the four, my exhaust decides to completely open up. the weld to the flange on the pipe behind the cat COMPLETELY breaks.
i will not even attempt to explain how loud it is.
skip ahead to the next day. my open-cat, louder than all-hell, so loud it is traffic stopping s2000- goes in for service. they replace it.
all goes well, surprisingly.

the next night, i am driving on a backroad and a deer runs out.
it hits its face on the front of my fender/headlight.
its body rotates around and smashes the rest of my fender.
it fips upward, over my windsheild, down onto me. (s2k, top down)
kicks me in the head and neck, falls out of the car and runs away.

$3000 for repairs.
damage- http://img293.imageshack.us/im...2.jpg
my temporary repair so the door wont rub the fender - http://img371.imageshack.us/im...6.jpg

two nights ago im driving home from my girlfriends and i get pulled over. 8mph over. i hadn't decelerated to the slower limit yet.
officer gave me an obstruction of view ticket for my radar detector. nice of him, but still $50 i have to waste.

skip ahead to last night.

i meet up with my buddies at the local park. we play dodgeball. juvenile yes, but its a decent workout, and beats sitting in someones basement watching street fire videos.

so about 15 minutes into the game i get smacked in the right hand. jams my pinky. i dont think much of it.
its sore, and getting worse. i play a few more games but its pretty unbareable.

i head home early planning to tape it to my ring finger. by the time i get home its wider than my thumb and sitting WAY crooked. me thinks its broken.

i pop two tylenol and drive to the ER. get x-rays, have some nurses try bending it, while im trying not to kick them.

10 minutes later, yep. broken.

the bone broke in a 'radial' fashion, all the way around. it then slid down alongside the other half. essentially temporarially shortning my finger.

they put it in a cast:

i jokingly asked for some percs, vicodin, and oxycodone.
they asked what one i wanted a perscription for...
i declined. (yea yea yea)

driving stick with this cast sucks.

AND it delays my supercharger install

sooooooo, now i sit here typing with one hand, hopped up on tylenol with codine, hoping i get tired soon.

good news is im getting a new front bumper out of the accident. my old one had lots of rock chips in it.

im getting the ap2 (04+) bumper replaced with an ap1 (00-03)
its the oppositer of what everyone does, but i like the older one better- it has so many more lip options for it.

the one i have now is in otherwise great condition, so i should be able to resell it for a penny or two.

Kind of comical, but in a sad way.

Repeat after me, OXYCONTIN... that's the good stuff.

I know how you feel. I busted my left knee in a motorcycle accident and if I still had the S2000, I wouldn't have been able to push the clutch down.

That's some bad luck, but it seems that you're keeping light-hearted about it

I'd hate to break my pinky that badly. . . I'd have to switch hands to. . . .
