Default Credit card reciept

Those who work with credit card machines and such..........if you loose the store copy the white copy what happens?! Do you have to have that to get your $$$$ or is it getting run through the machine sufficient. Supposibly I lost a reciept and now my boss is saying that she won't get paid on it because she has to submit that to Visa.

Please put my mind at ease.

He should have a Batch and corresponding BatchID for the days business. If the sale was approved, then, rest assured, yours is included in the batch. Also, he can reprint the receipt from the POS if you know the amount. Easy stuff. Tell your boss to go smoke his crack somewhere else and let you get on with the business of make'n money!!

not submitting the sig just means it is easier for the customer to do a chargeback, as there is no proof of acceptance of the transaction. More than likely, the customer will remember paying for it and not try to scam you.

What they said. Having worked as an assistant store manager for Kmart for a few years. Hey I was putting myself through college. I can assure you that you do not have to send the receipts in. The store keeps them and has to show them as evidence (signature) of a purchase only if the charges are disbuted by the customer.
