can someone reccomened a site that is trustworthy to check my credit?
also how much does it cost to check it?

try equifax. I do believe you are entitled to a free report once a year, but that isn't something you do online. You have to write them for it.

i think i did transunion (http://www.transunion.com) last year. there's also equifax and a third one, but i don't remember.

edit: like wickerbill said, you're entitled to one free report per year, but scores are extra. i paid $6 when i did mine.

go to myfico.com sign up for the free 1 month trial. They'll send you an email before the trial ends and you can just reply to cancel.

Yes, let someone pull your credit (I can as well) and don't sign up for one of those annual services.

Now were you aware that the credit bureaus have at least 2 different credit scores for you?

There is a different score for mortgages. Don't know why. You can't pull that score.

You can get your whole credit history for free.

I recommend using TransUnion when it says to pick one of the three because they
give you all the information pertaining to your creditors.

If you want your score you will need to pay.
