Crowd saves man from under burning BMW.
No, he wasn't wearing a helmet.
While it's easy to blame the BMW driver--and it may very well be his fault--I've seen too many people fly around corners on bikes (without helmets) not to consider that the guy may have been speeding...

Was the motorcyclist not wearing a helmet?

There could have been a car turning into the driveway/parking lot, with the motorcycle on the other side, which would mostly have blocked the motorcycle from view of the bimmer driver...
Ding, ding, ding! You're right... And when the EMTs showed up, instead of letting them all focus on Brandon (the motorcycle driver), he was complaining about having high blood pressure. I guess you gotta give him credit though... If I hit a motorcycle and the guy was laying there lifeless I would be freaking out quite a bit as well... especially if I was the one that caused the wreck.
As a motorctyclist myself, I'm aware of the dangers of being on two wheels.
The simple fact is, your easily obscured. There was a fatality this weekend past, where a motorcyclist was collected by a car, leaving their curbside carpark.
This kids pretty fkn lucky.
