A lost gospel wasn't enough? Hum I would think the "word of god" would be enough. Either way I think by myth only one person wondering this earth was alive then to be able to tell the truth. So I think man shouldn't be so arogant as to know rather or not christ had or didn't have a wife. I belive he did but i don't know he did. Either way it doesn't change a freaking thing. Either way you look at it. God himself loved mary enough to give her his son why couldn't jesus do the same thing to someone else? I'm mostly playing devils avocate.

Nah, Roger Moore is caucasian , but it is said that Jesus was "comely", and I suppose Roger was as well, many, many years ago.

 

This whole "Da Vinci Code" thing reminds me of the excitement over "Chariots of the Gods" many years ago (1970's). Go and look up Eric Von Daniken and read some of his books.

If you want to further go back (1950's), look up Immanuel Velikovsky and read some of his books like "Worlds in Collision".

 

i'm reading A&D right now and its getting pretty interesting.

one question, which part of the story is fact and wich part is fiction? in the beginning of the book, dan brown states that CERN, antimatter, references to all works, and the illuminati is factual. so does this mean everything regarding the things above are facts? like is it true that CERN invented the world wide web?

 

Antimatter at cern does exist. You can check it out by going to cerns website. The illuminati did exist though their activities are questionable. Really the inventor of the WWW is different than Internet and computer networking. Computer networking was invented in the US the natural extension into other things is like saying X made the first rim when in reality the person who made the wheel is the real inventor while the dude makeing the rim just imporved on his invention. People do this all the time saying things like the phone was invented in Canada when it was really invented inthe US but the idea was put on paper in the Canada but the concept wasn't perfecteed to work until it was actually created in the US. These people are just looking for reasons to take credit for logical prograssion of an idea to promote there own agenda. Not to take away the CERN had carried computer networking to the WWW level but it wasn't a feat like the firs networking of computers.
