OK whilst reminiscing with a old friend last night he reminded me of how we use to (cough, cough ) and watch "The Wizard of Oz" while playing Pink FLoyds "Dark Side of the Moon".

OK if you have both of these do this

insert your vhs of Wizard of OZ in your vcr

insert cd of Dark Side of the Moon in your cd player

turn sound off on your tv

play Wizard of OZ.

after the MGM lion roars 3 times in the begining credits
hit play on your cd of Dark Side of the Moon

then watch and enjoy

Judging this crowd I'm sure many have tried this........

It's much better cuing with a DVD and CD. Much, much easier than VHS and vinyl, oh yes, this does go waaaaayyyyyyyy back.

I haven't tried the Wizard of Oz alternate score because I don't have a copy of that movie in any format.

I HAVE tested the other big Pink Floyd unofficial movie score: "Echoes" from the album Meddle can be played back during the final sequence of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It works quite well, and I actually prefer it now to the dissonant orchestral score that Kubrick used in the film. When the monolith appears for the final time before Dave Bowman in his bed, the PF track has an "aaaahhhh" sound that works perfectly. It's chilling.

Do a search for this topic using Google or some other search engine and you find exact instructions on how to sync it. It's not very hard anyway.
