If you can't use alcohol, try to get your hands on some rohypnol.
Wait, what was the objective again?

How much do you know about the girl? Try doing something that keys off her interests, it'll show that you're making an effort. If you're really interested, do two things:
1) Pick her up at her house.
2) Bring flowers.
You'll be ahead of the game, and the rest of the evening will be gravy.

And like someone else said... you can take her dancing. You don't need alcohol to dance (though I find that I think I'm a better dancer with alcohol).

Go horseback riding on a trail somewhere. The zoo always worked for me.

From San Jacinto since it's hot why not go up to Big Bear or the lake at Crestline? Take her to Cabizon shopping. (yuk) Hell, be different. Buy a couple of cheap tickets on Southwest and fly over to Vegas or up to San Fran for dinner. How cool would it be to fly her to Vegas with reservations at the Voodoo Lounge for dinner? It would be a date she'd never forget!

Plenty of stuff you can do that doesn't involve alcohol. Kinda wrong perception if you need that to party :\

totally agree with you. Habits form over time, and that's why I'm working on doing different things. This girl is not the typical girl I would date, she's very goody goody. Or so it seems . She's just really hot though.

I've thought about Karting, bowling, trip to the beach. We are already going horseback riding soon, but until then I might try bowling. I've already done the cruise to the canyons type stuff, just doesn't much time to talk over the loud s2000 with he top off.

oh and about flowers. I usually don't involve flowers until it's an established relationship. Maybe I'm just being a pus. I wonder how many guys whip out flowers before you have established a romantic relationship?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

oh and I'm not going to take her anywhere near shopping malls. I might have to start selling the bikes.

Remember, the thing with first dates is that *that* is where you set the dollar amount going forward.

Go to her place. Cook her dinner. No movie (she'll want to talk to you). Bring a good dessert.

Unkie Trunkie tends to say "no" to most concerts. The reason being is that attention is no longer on you, and she will have to go with the intention of competing with the other women there. Bad. Bad. Bad.

I save the concerts for when it's long-term, and we both like the artist.

Classical concerts can be an exception though. Go see what's playing at University of Redlands (if anything). Cheap(er), classy, and the hoopla is mostly removed.

that sounds kinda cool. I'd be more into dance shows that colleges have. I might check with the local universities. Is there a site that normally posts these kinds of events?

Funny that Google:
http://www.redlands.edu/x31933.xml

http://www.thephilharmonic.org/index.shtml

http://www.ipballet.org/index.php

http://www.crballet.com/index.php

I don't know about the quality of any of these, but man, a little search, and you got some culture on your hands.
