Sounds to me like the girl was trying to dish you off to the sister.

If the first girl was truly interested in you, I doubt she'd invite you to go out with her AND her sister.

I say go for it.

John,

This situation is inherently sticky. Seems to me that if you really dig the sister and she feels the same that you might regret not seeing where things go.

That said, it could cause some friction between the two sisters and that may turn out to be more drama than you really want.

The short answer is there's no short answer.

Sounds like they set you up. I think the older sister told her younger sister about a "guy I met who would be perfect for you!"

Ask out the one you like.

Brant:....My feelings exactly. I just dont want the two of them being ticked off at eachother because of me. There really is no good answer for this. Worst case is that the sister wont get involved with me and the other is angry because I ended up being interested in her sister. Oh well...another lesson learned. I'll know in a day or so when I ask her out for a drink.

Well here's the update....I couldn't take it anymore so I called the sister. The good news: Yes, she's interested in me and were supposed to meet for a drink after work on Thursday. The bad news: She wont do it without her sisters approval. I'll know tomorrow....Stay tuned!
