why do we still have daylight saving?? it makes no sense.
The whole thing is meaningless.
"Saves lives because people travel home in the light which is safer."
it's dark at 4:30. Everyone who gets out of work at 5 ( who I assume they're talking about here) still travels home in the dark." Can prevent crime because people do their errands in the daylight which is safer."
Errands done during the day are still done when it's light out, regardless of when the sun sets.
"Conserve energy"
Huh? How does one extra hour of having the lights on at night conserve energy?
"To make better use of daylight."
Again, huh? You get up in the moring, it's dark. You get home it's dark. What daylight am I making better use of? In an office when it would be still be light out during the day no matter when the sun rises or sets?

We just went on to daylight saving and its great because now I get home from the gym and its still light out so I can take my brother's kids for a walk or go for a run whereas on normal time I have to use the treadmill

I got an extra hour of sleep!
