Sorenson's history as a registered sex offender in Michigan and Illinois and the fact that he may have owed his attackers a small amount of money appear to have had nothing to do with his death, Worthy said.
Anyway, pretty horrible story. All together.

Owing a small amount of money doesn't excuse or entitle the perps to commit such a crime. They were just bored and soulless. Imagine if they'd gotten away with this, then they'd be addicted to killing like a drug.
